Do you know anything about vetiver? We didn't. It's a commonly used essential oil in scented products; beard oils, candles, cologne. We here at AD HOC have carried a multitude of items that have used vetiver as a scent, and finally after a short research expedition into the world of Wikipedia, we have come to the conclusion that vetiver is the best plant ever.
So it's related to lemongrass and citronella. It's mostly grown in warm areas of the word like India, and it has tons of amazing uses. It's roots are strong and are used to stabilize eroding soil. It makes hearty ropes and mats. It helps protect other crops against pests, can feed animal and of course it's roots are used to create the essential oil we know and love. It can even suck the oil out of the ground to make it fertile and healthy again! When it comes to products, it can be used as an antiseptic and to treat acne, so go getcha' some beard oil containing vetiver. Did you know it is contained in 90% of all western perfumes? This stuff is magic and we're huge fans.
